The BDS movement (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) targets small Food Co-Ops for its boycott movement against Israeli products. BDS supporters strategically join identified Co-Ops and then position themselves to propose the boycott once they have a clear handle on the procedures. They encourage their supporters to join in an effort to overwhelm the process and make it appear that the membership is strongly supportive of the boycott idea.
You can fight this takeover of your local Food Co-Op by this Palestinian-led and very organized political movement by joining the Co-Op yourself and encouraging your friends and neighbors to join also.
